Bao Dang is the founding director of Bao Dang Studio. Born in Ho Chi Minh City, educated in Australia and trained in England, he is a UK-registered architect with over nine years of experience working across internationally recognised practices and projects.

Before establishing the studio in 2023, Bao honed his design discipline working at Kengo Kuma & Associates (Tokyo) and most recently as a Project Lead and Associate at Foster + Partners (London). His project experience spans cultural institutions, commercial headquarters and hospitality buildings across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

His design ethos is rooted in a research-based and context-driven principle, with explorative rigour throughout the project’s development. He applies his cross-cultural lens between East and West to enrich the experiential quality of every project to its site, purpose and history.

He is an ARB-registered and RIBA Chartered architect.
